This program provides a comprehensive foundation in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) within the South African regulatory context. Participants will examine the OHS Act (Act 85 of 1993) and Construction Regulations 2014, learning to conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA). The curriculum covers essential operational requirements including the Hierarchy of Controls, emergency preparedness, safety documentation, and incident investigation. By the end of the 11 modules, learners will understand their legal roles and how to cultivate a proactive safety culture to minimize workplace incidents and ensure compliance.
